Quartets

Prince William Sound

PWS was first organized in the early 70's with Ed and Chuck as original members. These four have been together since 1992. (It's a shame they don't have compatible personalities!) They sing for weddings, parties, valentines, and often just for the fun of it.

Chuck Renschler - Bass
Don Hartman - Bari
Ed Koontz - Lead (contact person - (907) 333-4119)
Terry Gose - Tenor

Chuck Renschler is the owner of Party Craft. Don is a retired geologist from Standard Oil. Ed is retired from the US Air Force and then later retired from his avionics business. Terry is a realtor and works for ReMax.

Higher Ground

No, this is not a coffee blend and has nothing to do with the fact their lead is a pilot for Fed Ex. Originally started as gospel quartet, these men enjoy singing anywhere, anytime.  Their up-lifting sound and ringing chords are a perfect remedy for what ails the soul and will take it to Higher Ground!

Ron Horton, Lead, Anchorage, AK
Dave Laymon, Tenor, Anchorage, AK
Bill Lubke, Baritone, Anchorage, AK
Tim Tillman, Bass, Anchorage, AK

Frozen Pipes

Originally members of a Heavy Metal band, the Sour Notes lives changed forever after screaming fans stormed the stage during one of their heavy metal performances completely destroying all their electronic equipment.  All that remained was a damaged harmonica with only 13 useable notes.

With no money, no equipment and seemingly no future, the Sour Notes turned from their worldly ways, turned their damaged harmonica into a pitch pipe and changed their name to the Frozen Pipes.  Today instead of audiences storming the stage, they storm the exits!

By themselves they are nothing … but together, mildly irritating …

Jo Knox, Lead, Fairbanks, AK
Jon Gentzel, Tenor, Fairbanks, AK
Kevin Boyd, Baritone, Anchorage, AK
Steve Stripling, Bass, Anchorage, AK

5 Cannibals

Some say this group operates outside the box.  Are you kidding?!  They destroyed it!  No one- and we mean no one- including their audiences- has more fun than the Five Cannibals when it comes to singing and performing.

Rick Barrier- Baritone
George Reandeau - Bass
Gaylee Reandeau - Tenor
Stan Herrera - Lead
